Canadian singer Carly Rae Jepsen shows up in the video for Blood Orange’s “Better Than Me,” which debuted Friday.
Directed by Devonté Hynes — aka Blood Orange — the video shows well-dressed dancers performing with Hynes in a warehouse.
Jepsen, sporting short-cropped hair and wearing a long open jacket, doesn’t dance but she pops in several times to sing her verses.
“Better Than Me” is featured on Blood Orange’s critically-acclaimed Freetown Sound, which came out this past summer.
B.C. native Jepsen and London-born Hynes co-wrote the track “All That” for Jepsen’s 2015 album Emotion.
Jepsen, 31, will be performing on Parliament Hill in Ottawa on New Year's Eve.
