Fans distribute posters that read “I wanna cut to the feeling” around a Los Angeles neighbourhood in a new lyric video for Carly Rae Jepsen’s summer single, “Cut to the Feeling”.
The lyric video dropped last night (June 22) and it sees a teenage girl stapling up the posters in between dance breaks (and who can blame her?). The song was originally written for Jepsen’s 2015 album E•MO•TION but sadly didn’t make the cut.

Instead, it was released as part of the soundtrack for French Canadian film Ballerina, which was later released as Leap! (Jepsen voiced one of the characters in the film).
Jepsen recently performed E•MO•TION live with the Toronto Symphonic Orchestra to rave reviews and is rumoured to be working on her third album, allegedly titled 99 cent dreams. Watch the video for “Cut to the Feeling” below:
