Celine Dion shared two videos on Saturday to mark the first anniversary of the death of her beloved husband and longtime manager René Angélil.
"Today, January 14th, it’s been a year since René left us,” she wrote. “He will always be in our hearts.”
The first video shows a collection of photos and video clips of Angélil through the years, including many family moments.
A second video features Dion singing acapella while she looks at photos of her late husband.
She captioned it: “My memory loves you, it asks about you all the time. Especially today… One year later, I wish R.I.P. meant Return If Possible. Forever yours, Céline xx…”
Angélil died Jan. 14, 2016, at age 73, after a long battle with cancer. His funeral was held at Montreal’s Notre-Dame Basilica and he was buried at his family’s plot in Notre-Dame-Des-Neiges Cemetery.
The couple married in December 1994 and had three sons together: René-Charles Angélil (who turns 16 on Jan. 25) and 6-year-old twins Nelson and Eddy. Angélil had three children from previous marriages.
