Fans got their first look at Cher in Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again on Thursday.
The official trailer for the follow-up to the 2008 hit flick shows the 71-year-old music legend making an epic return to the big screen as Ruby, grandmother of Sophie (played by Amanda Seyfried).
Donning a blond wig, Cher announces that it’s time to “get the party started.”
The sequel focuses on the back story of Donna, with Lily James playing the younger version of Meryl Streep’s character. Original stars Christine Baranski, Julie Walters, Pierce Brosnan, Stellan Skarsgard and Colin Firth reprise their roles.
Mamma Mia!, which features the songs of ABBA, grossed an impressive $610 million U.S. worldwide.
Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again comes out July 20.
