Country star Chris Stapleton paid his respects to Glen Campbell last week with a rendition of the late legend’s hit “Rhinestone Cowboy.”
Stapleton was performing at the Giant Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania when he stopped to remember Campbell, who died Aug. 8 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease.
“I'm going to try to do a Glen Campbell song tonight,” said Stapleton. “Not because I'm going to do a great job of it, but just because I want to pay my respects to Mr. Campbell.”
