After performing her new song “Commander In Chief” on Wednesday night’s Billboard Music Awards, Demi Lovato premiered its official video.
The pop star doesn’t show up until two minutes into the video, which features a diverse collection of regular folks lip-syncing the message for U.S. president Donald Trump.
“Commander in Chief, honestly / If I did the things you do / I couldn't sleep, seriously,” Lovato sings. "Do you even know the truth? / We’re in a state of crisis, people are dyin’ / While you line your pockets deep / Commander in Chief, how does it feel to still / Be able to breathe?”
The video ends with one important word: “Vote.”
