Hot on the heels of Ed Sheeran's "Perfect" duet with Beyoncé comes a classical take on the ballad featuring the distinctive voice of Andrea Bocelli.
The orchestral version of "Perfect," which was arranged by Sheeran's brother Matthew Sheeran, was recorded in Bocelli's home in Tuscany, Italy.
Sheeran even tries out a few lyrics in Italian.
The original version of “Perfect,” which appears on Sheeran’s most recent album ÷, is a song about his girlfriend Cherry Seaborn. The singer has said he was inspired to write the song after listening to rapper Future’s music while spending time at James Blunt’s house in Ibiza.
Bocelli, 59, has previously lent his voice to tracks by female artists like Céline Dion ("The Prayer"), Sarah Brightman ("Time To Say Goodbye"), Christina Aguilera ("It's Impossible"), and Mary J. Blige ("Bridge Over Troubled Water").
