Fans of pop star Robyn were definitely not dancing on their own following her concert Friday night at Madison Square Garden.
A crowd of post-concert revellers packed the subway platform at 34th Street-Penn Station for an impromptu sing-a-long to the Swedish singer’s 2010 tracks “Dancing On My Own” and “Hang With Me.”
Of course, clips of the Robyn lovefest hit social media and soon caught the attention of Robyn herself, who wrote on Instagram: “I’m overwhelmed … I can’t believe the love in this subway station. Thank you New York.”
The pop star also retweeted one clip and wrote: “Feeling the love, NYC.”
Robyn will feel more love this week when the North American leg of her Honey tour wraps up with shows in Montreal on March 13 and Toronto on March 14.
