Garth Brooks stopped by the Bobby Bones Show to talk about The Anthology | Part 1.
The set includes several demos, stories and experiences from the first five years of the country star’s career.
While he was in the studio, Bones played back the demo of 1989's “The Dance” and we got to watch Brooks take it all in.

Brooks also talked about what it was like recording his first songs and how his producer helped him find his sound away from his influences of George Strait and other country artists.
