Gloria Estefan has premiered “Cuando Hay Amor,” a celebration of exactly what the world needs now… love.
In an Instagram post, the 62-year-old singer said the song is “a tribute to the power that love has to enrich our lives and lift our spirits...all kinds of love, especially the love we should have for each other because we are of one name…human.”
Written by Estefan’s husband Emilio with Nicolás Tovar and Andrea López, “Cuando Hay Amor” (“When There’s Love”) is one of four new songs on Estefan’s forthcoming album Brazil 305, a collection of 11 of her hits set to Brazilian rhythms. The album is out Aug. 13.

“I firmly believe that life is what happens when we are busy making plans,” Estefan shared. “I intended to release this music 3 years ago but postponed because my momma got ill and passed away and I couldn’t bring myself to sing.”
The track comes with a joyful video shot in Salvador Bahia that shows Estefan dancing while surrounded by Bahian women.
