Green Day woke up Friday to video for one of three songs the band released this month from their forthcoming album.
“Father Of All…” is the title track of Green Day’s first studio album since 2016’s Revolution Radio. It’s out Feb. 7.
“We wanted to make something about dancing. Anxiety. Tribalism. Joy… and straight up violence,” reads a description of the video. “It’s the history of us. Meaning all of us.
“None of this is choreographed… (except the hotties in red) we don’t need to be choreographed... just lose your s**t.. scream like no one is listening… dance like your hair is on fire. punk soul rockers!”
The new music is a warm-up for the Hella Mega Tour with Weezer and Fall Out Boy, which comes to Toronto’s Rogers Centre on Aug. 24.
