Jennifer Hudson gave an emotional performance of “For All We Know” before Sunday’s NBA All-Star Game as a tribute to Kobe Bryant.
The singer belted out the classic ballad in front of a large video screen that displayed images of the basketball star and his daughter Gianna, who were killed in a helicopter crash Jan. 26.
Hudson was followed by rapper Common, who performed a spoken-word tribute to the NBA All-Star Game’s host city, Chicago.
During the halftime show, Chance the Rapper brought out Lil Wayne, DJ Khaled, Quavo and a marching band for a high-energy set that ended by honouring Bryant.
