Alice Cooper added some Canadian content to his annual New Year’s Eve benefit show this year.
The 68-year-old rocker surprised fans in Maui, Hawaii, by welcoming actor Jim Carrey on stage.
The Ontario-born funnyman, wearing Cooper-style black eye makeup, joined Cooper for two songs — “No More Mr. Nice Guy” and “School’s Out.” The latter morphed into Pink Floyd's "Another Brick in the Wall."
Carrey even showed off his rock moves with Cooper's bass player and played a bit of tambourine.
Lucky for us, the moments were captured on video.
Cooper’s NYE show, which raises funds for the Maui Food Bank and Maui Arts and Cultural Center, featured appearances by Michael McDonald, Dave Mason from Traffic, and “Weird Al” Yankovic.
Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler, who lives in Hawaii, also made a surprise appearance at the event to sing “Walk This Way.”
