His new album doesn’t drop until this fall but Karl Wolf chose Valentine’s Day to debut the video for his new single “Wherever You Go.”
The 37-year-old singer from Montreal shot the beautiful video in Santorini, Greece, with model Nisrina Sbia.
The song is a Wolf-ized version of Richard Marx’s 1989 hit “Right Here Waiting.”
Wolf is a master at putting a fresh spin on older hits by other artists.
His breakout single was 2008’s “Africa” (the Toto song) and he followed with 2011’s “Ghetto Love” (which used the 1986 Peter Cetera track “Glory Of Love”) and 2013’s “Go Your Own Way” (the 1976 Fleetwood Mac classic).
Wolf has earned three Juno nominations during his music career.
