New behind the scenes footage of Ariana Grande’s benefit concert for the victims of the Manchester attack in May has been released. In a clip released by Katy Perry, the singer consoles Grande before going on stage to perform “Part of Me” to a crowd of 50,000.
It shows the singer rehearsing her songs “Part of Me” and “Roar”. She also hangs out backstage with Miley Cyrus, Niall Horan and Justin Bieber, to whom she gives a hug and says, “It’s awesome that you’re here, doing this.”
As a result of the concert bringing everyone together, Ariana Grande was offered honourary Manchester citizenship. The concert was streamed across all iHeartRadio stations and raised nearly $3 million USD for the victims and their families. Watch the clip below:
