Country superstar Keith Urban showed he’s got heart last week when he serenaded a terminally-ill woman in an Ohio hospital.
Marissa English, who was born with a number of health issues, including an inoperable brain cyst, is a huge fan of Urban. So, nurses at Mercy Health St. Vincent Hospital in Toledo took to social media in hopes of getting Urban to surprise the 25-year-old.
Hours before his concert in the city, Urban dropped in to visit English. A video shows the singer holding her hand while singing “Blue Ain’t Your Color,” his hit co-written by Canada’s Steven Lee Olsen.
Urban later dedicated his show to English, whom he described as “my biggest fan.” He also gave a shout-out to members of her family and her nurses.
