King Leg has debuted for “Wanted” that was co-directed by country music icon Dwight Yoakam.
The Nashville-based musician, whose real name is Bryan Joyce, evokes Roy Orbison on the track, which Yoakam co-produced with Chris Lord-Alge.
“I was soaking up every last drop of knowledge and inspiration I could,” Joyce told Guitar Player about working with Yoakam. “It helped that we have similar tastes. I grew up enjoying ’60s and ’70s rock and Elvis, and I could connect with him on the classic country level, as well.”
"Wanted" appears on his 2018 debut album, Meet King Leg.
King Leg is set to play the Stagecoach Country Music Festival on April 28.
