Lady Gaga debuted a commercial for The Love Project during the U.S. broadcast of the 89th Academy Awards on Sunday.
Previously teased via social media, the singer's newest project has a simple but powerful mission statement: share love with the world.
During the 30-second ad, which was directed by Brett Ratner and features additional star power from Pharrell Williams and Ellen DeGeneres, the trio share their different definitions for love.
Gaga's "A Million Reasons" is used in the commercial.
In a statement for the venture, Gaga explained the importance of the campaign.
"The Love Project is the beginning of a social movement which aims to inspire more love, acceptance and caring in the world," she said. "At the heart of this campaign is the belief that all people are beautiful and that love can create a better world."
