Lorde knew just how to appease the city of Chicago during her latest stop of her Melodrama World Tour on Tuesday night, and it involved some classic Kanye West tracks that had the crowd roaring.
In the middle of her 18-song set, the 21-year-old pop star started off with an a capella version of "Love Lockdown," before continuing on with a small snippet of "Runaway," which was effortless mashed up with her own ballad, "Liability." She also decided to give the hip-hop heavyweight a shout-out, reportedly telling the crowd, "It must be nice to come from the same place as Kanye West."
Covers have been a staple at each of her shows, with her mostly covering Frank Ocean's "Solo" at each tour stop. However, similar to Yeezy, Lorde tailored her Minneapolis stop to include a rendition of Prince's "I Would Die 4 U."
