Canada is repped in Everything This Way, a short film chronicling the North American leg of Måneskin’s recent tour.
The Canadian flag shows up at around the 17:45 mark in the 36-minute film, followed by behind-the-scenes clips of the Italian rock band at Toronto’s History and then at Montreal’s MTelus in November.
At the latter, frontman Damiano David is seen praising the energy of the crowd and practicing the greeting “Bonsoir, Montreal.”
Måneskin shared Everything This Way on YouTube on Friday. “Welcome to our first North American Tour! These last two months on the road have been insane and we can’t wait to come back! But until then, please fasten your seat belts and enjoy our New Year’s present we prepared especially for you,” reads the description.
“Same old pals: dancing Thomas, screaming Dam, contemplative Ethan and loud Vic exploring the finest venues and backstages in North America. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did. Happy New Year folks!”
Måneskin has released two studio albums since forming in 2016. The band had a breakthrough when they won the 2021 Eurovision Song Contest and found commercial success with a cover of the 1967 Four Seasons classic “Beggin’.”
