Movie star Mark Wahlberg has made it quite clear that his daughter will never become the wife of Justin Bieber.
“She liked him a lot when she was younger, turned on him completely, and then came back with a vengeance,” Wahlberg said of 13-year-old Ella Rae. “Like, ‘Dad, that’s going to be my husband.’
“I said, ‘Over my dead body! Actually, over both your dead bodies.’ I’ll just go back to jail.”
During an appearance on Ellen that aired Friday, Wahlberg said his eldest offspring was immersed in the musical.ly app one night when Bieber was their guest for dinner.
But, what made Wahlberg’s story on the daytime talk show so fun was that he never actually identified by Bieber by name.
When host Ellen DeGeneres pressed him, the former Funky Bunch rapper teased: “It’s a young man … and he’s a very nice young man. Canadian fellow.”
When DeGeneres ID’ed the Biebs, Wahlberg replied: “I didn’t say it was Justin Bieber.
“Could have been Bryan Adams. What about The Weeknd? There’s some other Canadian artists that I could think of.”
Wahlberg, 45, also let it slip that he and Bieber, 22, might work together soon. The two former Calvin Klein underwear models had previously talked about making a basketball-themed movie.
