Michael Bublé faced a formidable crooning competitor during his concert Sunday night in Georgia.
The Canadian singer invited Andrew Zarrillo, who was at the show with his girlfriend Amanda Van Cleve, to sing “Fly Me to the Moon.”
Bublé handed the mic to Zarrillo and asked if he needed any help.
“I’ve got it,” Zarrillo replied.
It quickly became clear to the crowd at Infinite Energy Center – and to Bublé – that Zarrillo did, indeed, have it.
Bublé sat several feet away and let Zarrillo have his moment in the spotlight.
“Everyone thought it was scripted,” Zarrillo captioned video of his performance on YouTube, “but it’s a totally impromptu moment!”
A Houston native, Zarrillo describes himself on Facebook as a “Nashville based jazz pop singer” whose influences include Frank Sinatra, Harry Connick Jr. and, yes, Michael Bublé.

Bublé frequently stops his show to talk to audience members and, occasionally, to let one of them sing. In 2010, he was surprised by the vocal talent of a 15-year-old boy he brought up on stage.
