One of the highlights of Saturday’s epic One World: Together at Home livestream was Canadian singer Michael Bublé rendition of the Beach Boys classic “God Only Knows.”
Wearing black and standing in front of a black background inside his Vancouver home, Bublé sang to a simple piano track.
Written by Brian Wilson and Tony Asher, the ballad about moving on after suffering loss was originally sung by Carl Wilson and released in 1966 on the Beach Boys album Pet Sounds. It has been covered by dozens of artists over the years, including David Bowie and Canada's Bryan Adams.
Bublé recorded a version of the song for his 2016 album Nobody but Me.

At the end of his performance, Bublé urged viewers to “take action and help out frontline healthcare workers" during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The following day, Bublé shared his version of “God Only Knows” on social media. “For those who missed the Global Citizen One World: Together at Home concert,” he wrote, “here’s my performance.”
