Taking over Wanda’s House of Beauty, Miranda Lambert shared a music video Thursday (Feb. 9) for “We Should Be Friends”. It’s the second single off her latest album, The Weight Of These Wings.
As the 33-year-old gets pampered, she makes a case for appreciating our imperfections, singing: “If your mind's as cluttered as your kitchen sink / If your heart's as empty as your diesel tank / If all your white t-shirts have stains / If you've got some goods and got some ink / Well then, we should be friends.”
The video is a family affair, as it features cameos from Lambert’s real-life friends, songwriters Natalie Hemby and Waylon Payne. The video was directed by Trey Fanjoy, who has also directed memorable videos for Taylor Swift and Reba McEntire.
