Montgomery Gentry debuted the video for “Get Down South” on Friday, the second single from their latest album Here’s To You.
“Get Down South” delivers a little bit of country mixed with a little bit of rock-n-roll, and is the first music video from the country duo to be released with Eddie Montgomery performing solo, following the tragic death of Troy Gentry in September of last year.

The video tells the story of a Nashville girl taken out of the city and planted in the green country landscapes of Tennessee with her new boyfriend, ultimately finding serenity in her newfound small-town space.
Gentry’s voice is heard throughout the chorus, while Montgomery delivers spoken-word vocals over the sounds of a banjo.
