Nick Jonas gave Montreal a shout-out on Tuesday’s episode of daytime talk show Ellen.
“Montreal’s a great city,” the pop star said, after host Ellen DeGeneres mentioned that he is working on a film in the city.
“Very French, so I’m trying to get better at French,” Jonas added.
The singer, who was on the show to perform his new single “Find You,” is making Chaos Walking, a film starring Daisy Ridley and Tom Holland, in and around Montreal.
DeGeneres asked Jonas what he would say in French to impress someone.
“Bonjour!,” he replied.
“I’ve seen Beauty and the Beast. I know that much.”
The segment ended with DeGeneres presenting Jonas with a beret so he will “look the part” in Montreal.
