The surviving members of Nirvana reunited Saturday at Cal Jam 18 in San Bernardino.
Dave Grohl, Krist Novoselic and Pat Smear took the stage together with Joan Jett and John McCauley providing vocals.
The band played six Nirvana songs: “Serve the Servants,” “Scentless Apprentice,” “In Bloom,” “Breed,” “Smells Like Teen Spirit” and “All Apologies.”
The crowd went wild when Novoselic gave a shout-out to Kurt Cobain, who died in 1994.
It was the first time the trio performed Nirvana material since the night of the band’s 2014 induction ceremony in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
