The surviving members of The Beatles reunited on Saturday night in front of thousands of fans at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles.
“We’ve got a surprise for us, a surprise for you, a surprise for everyone,” Paul McCartney announced during his concert. “Ladies and gentlemen, the one and only, Ringo Starr!”
The pair performed “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band (Reprise)” and “Helter Skelter.”
“Thank you, Paul. It’s been a thrill for me,” Starr said. “I’ve had a lovely night. And it’s a great show and I love you man.”
McCartney responded with Starr’s trademark phrase. “Peace and love, Ringo,” he said. “Forever.”
Also joining McCartney on stage during the concert was Starr’s brother-in-law, Eagles guitarist Joe Walsh.
