Paula Abdul on Saturday took two steps forward, and one step...whack!

The 56-year-old, who had a string of hits in the late-‘80s and early-‘90s, fell off the stage while performing at the Hard Rock Casino in Biloxi, Mississippi.

Fan-shot video of the moment shows Abdul encouraging the crowd to join in on her 1991 track “The Promise of a New Day.” She walks toward the crowd and suddenly drops off the edge of the stage.

According to fans, Abdul got straight up and the show went on.

The 26-city Straight Up Paula! Tour was scheduled to kick off Oct. 3 but was delayed until Oct. 18 due to production issues (an Oct. 6 stop at Casino Rama in Ontario has been bumped to March 30). The tour's second show – Friday night in Lake Charles, Louisiana – was scrapped due to "an unexpected venue production issue."

The former dancer and original American Idol judge is scheudled to perform Thursday at Caesars Windsor in Ontario.
