After announcing to the thousands of screaming fans in attendance at Rogers Centre that she wanted to play “one of my favourite songs ever written,” Swift began the first verse of the 1984 hit before Adams appeared on stage.
Adams had performed a concert of his own on Friday night at the Scotiabank Centre a couple of blocks down the road.
"I didn’t even know Bryan was gonna be in town until last night," Swift wrote on Instagram, "and I asked him completely last minute if he wanted to come sing!! Pretty evident from the videos that I’m FULLY LOSING IT with excitement, and I can’t thank @bryanadams enough."
Swift also shared a photo of the pair's secret rehearsal on Instagram.
