Taylor Swift is getting into the holiday spirit with “Christmas Tree Farm,” a song that debuted overnight with a video that’s all about family.
“I actually did grow up on a Christmas tree farm,” Swift tweeted. “In a gingerbread house, deep within the yummy gummy gumdrop forest. Where, funnily enough, this song is their national anthem.”
The video includes home video of the Swift family – including the singer’s dad Scott, mother Andrea and brother Austin – celebrating Christmas on Pine Ridge Farm in Pennsylvania.
"In my heart is a Christmas tree farm / Where the people would come / to dance under sparkling lights," she sings. "Bundled up in their mittens and coats / And the cider would flow / And I just wanna be there tonight."
Swift reportedly penned the track just this past weekend. It’s her third original holiday song after “Christmases When You Were Mine” and “Christmas Must Be Something More” from her 2007 Taylor Swift Holiday Collection EP.
