Metallica has stitched together footage of live shows in cities around the world — including Toronto — to create a video called “Hardwired… Around the World.”
The rock band is seen on stages big and small in places like Berlin, New York City, Copenhagen, London and Costa Rica.
There are also shots of Metallica’s promotional gig last November at Toronto’s The Opera House.
The group kicks off the North American leg of its tour on Wednesday night in Baltimore. At 9 p.m the night before, they’ll livestream four songs at their final rehearsal on Facebook.
Metallica hits Canada in July with concerts in Quebec City, Toronto and Montreal and then returns north to wrap up the current leg with shows Aug. 14 in Vancouver and Aug. 16 in Edmonton.
