This is how former Oasis singer Liam Gallagher describes the late George Michael in a new documentary set to air in the UK.

In a trailer for George Michael: Freedom posted online Monday, other stars share their thoughts on the singer, who died last Christmas Day.

“Authentic,” says Elton John. Mary J. Blige opines: “You can hear pain, you can hear joy. You can hear everything in George Michael.”

The trailer also contains the words of Michael himself. “I want to leave songs that will mean something to other generations,” he shared.

Described as “a film made by and about George Michael,” Freedom will air later this month on Channel 4.
