U2 paid tribute to the late Leonard Cohen during their concert in Toronto last week.
“Tonight I’m holding onto the music of Leonard Cohen,” frontman Bono told the crowd inside the Rogers Centre. “He’s an addiction I’m not ready to give up.”
The singer then dedicated U2’s “Bad” to Cohen, who died last November.
Bono then had the stage lights turned off and asked the crowd to light up the stadium with their mobile devices.
“That’s beautiful. Stars coming out for Leonard,” he said.
