Yes, that was U2 performing live on a New York City street on Friday night.
The rock band, whose new album Songs of Experience just came out, did “Get Out Of Your Own Way” on 26th St. below the High Line – an elevated park in Manhattan.
The performance, which was streamed on Facebook Live, attracted a small group of passersby who captured the moment for themselves on their phones.
Near the end of the song, Bono and The Edge literally stopped traffic as they crossed the street. Bono waved to the crowd and said “Thank you very much!”
"Get Out Of Your Own Way" was one of two songs U2 did the following night on SNL.
