Vampire Weekend put a festive twist on its new single “Harmony Hall” during an appearance on Thursday’s The Late Late Show with James Corden.
Frontman Ezra Koenig was backed by a group of children as they launched into part of “Christmas Time Is Here,” the Lee Mendelson and Vince Guaraldi song written for 1965’s A Charlie Brown Christmas.
As Vampire Weekend morphed into “Harmony Hall,” the kids remained to provide backing vocals. The track is on the band’s most recent album, Father of the Bride.
