Walk off the Earth – the Canadian alt-rock group made up of Sarah Blackwood, Gianni "Luminati" Nicassio, Ryan Marshall, Mike "Beard guy" Taylor, and Joel Cassady – have released a fun video for their latest single “Taekwondo” Friday (June 30).
The video is a total laugh, as Gianni Nicassio learns the martial art of Taekwondo in order to impress his beau, here played by Sarah Blackwood. “I'm takin taekwondo/if people mess with you I'll kick em with my toe/I got the situation under control/You know I'll always be your lifelong beau,” the group sings.
The JUNO Award-winning group recently performed the song at the CBC Music Festival and the Saskatoon Jazz Festival, and will continue touring Canada as part of its 150th celebrations before heading to Australia for several dates in July.
