Will Smith took a trip down memory lane this week with The Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon by performing a medley of iconic TV show themes.
The duo started with “Thank You for Being a Friend” (The Golden Girls) and then morphed into “Movin’ on Up” (The Jeffersons).
Next in the medley was “It Takes Diff’rent Strokes” (Diff’rent Strokes), a theme song co-written by the late Canadian actor Alan Thicke.
Then came the theme from Good Times (including its infamously unknown lyrics), “The Fishin’ Hole” whistling from The Andy Griffith Show and “Jeannie” from I Dream of Jeannie.
Smith and Fallon included bits of “Everywhere You Look” (Full House), “Believe It Or Not” (The Greatest American Hero) and “Come and Knock on Our Door” (Three’s Company) – with a bit of the Martin theme thrown in.
Of course, the medley had to end with part of “Yo Home to Bel-Air,” the Quincy Jones-penned theme to Smith’s sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.
