More than 40 years after their first album, Rush is being celebrated with a documentary that takes fans behind the scenes.
The Toronto band has sold more than 40 million albums worldwide -- a record beat only by the Beatles and the Rolling Stones.
The insightful documentary, Rush: Time Stand Still is narrated by actor (and big time fan) Paul Rudd and chronicles the band's R40 tour.
The film takes us on a journey showing how the band stayed together for over 40 years, what it took to be able to deal with the demands of international touring, and the attention required by adoring fans.

And, talking about fans, a lot of the film features some of the biggest followers of the group.
Director Dale Heslip includes interviews with the band's entourage, such as manager Ray Daniels, but also the truck driver who has been with them since the '70s.
The musicians themselves inspire maturity, and especially their strong down-to-Earth tendencies, which makes you love them instantly. Even if you're not of the generation that idolized them.
Time Stand Still is in select cities on Nov. 3.
