Wiz Khalifa addressed the death of his older sister Friday, calling it “the hardest thing I’ve had to deal with.”
On Thursday, Khalifa’s mother Peachie Wimbush shared the obituary for Dorien “Lala” Thomaz on Instagram. Lala, who was transgender, was 32.
“I have seen, heard and felt every bit of your love,” she wrote after a passage from Steel Magnolias.
On Friday, Khalifa tweeted about his sister's death.
“The loss of my sibling has been the hardest thing Ive had to deal with but wiith (sic) your prayers and well wishes my family will get though (sic) this,” wrote the 29-year-old rapper.
A cause of death has not yet been revealed.
