Here’s a story from the book of Genesis.
A Mexican church has erected a huge baby Jesus statue that bears an uncanny resemblance to '80s Phil Collins.
The figure, which was made by Roman Salvador out of fiberglass, resin and automotive paste and paint, stands more than 6.5 metres and weighs about 900 kilograms. It’s installed at La EpifanÍa del Señor church in the state of Zacatecas, northwest of Mexico City.
Priest Humberto Rodríguez hasn't commented on the statue's resemblance to Collins but called it "an unprecedented work" and "a gift from the people for the people," according to Punto Y Aparte Radio.
Guinness World Records has been asked to certify that it’s the world’s biggest baby Jesus. (The current record-holder stands just under five metres.)
Collins co-wrote 1992’s “Jesus He Knows Me,” a satirical look at televangelists, for the Genesis album We Can’t Dance. His solo hits include "In The Air Tonight" and "Another Day in Paradise."
