The youngest brother in pop group Hanson was injured last week in a motorcycle accident in his native Oklahoma, it was revealed Friday.
In a Facebook post, Zac Hanson, 33, said he broke three ribs and his collarbone and cracked his scapula.
“Nothing is injured that won’t heal with a little rest and time,” he said, “and a healthy dose of gaming!”
Hanson said he was getting ready for a cross-country ride when the crash occurred and credited “good quality protective gear” for enabling him to walk away.
The group, best known the ‘90s hit “MMMBop,” has shows lined up beginning on Oct. 25 and kicks off a tour in Vancouver on Nov. 30.
“We will not be cancelling any concerts,” Hanson promised. “I will be handing over the drum sticks to our good friend Dash Hutton for the next few weeks, and I will be giving my full attention to singing while my shoulder is on the mend.”
