Zayn Malik and his manager Sarah Stennett have parted ways.
Variety reported Monday that Stennett, of First Access Entertainment, has managed the singer since he left One Direction in 2015. It quoted sources as saying Malik “is challenging to work with.”
Malik, who recently released the second single from his forthcoming album, reportedly refused to tour in support of his first solo album and turned down a number of promotional opportunities.
“Sometimes in life you have to make extremely difficult decisions to effect positive change for everyone,” Stennett told Variety, which said a rep for Malik could not be reached.
