Zendaya is one of Hollywood's most in-demand actors and models, but there is hope that she will return to music at some point in the future.
The former Disney star released a self-titled album in 2013, back when she was a regular on Disney Channel's Shake It Up, and was said to be working on a second album with Timbaland, which never surfaced. Since she has released a handful of songs featured on her HBO series Euphoria.
In an appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show to promote her new film, Challengers, Zendaya says there is a chance she will return to music at some point.
“I love music, and it’s something that’s been special to me," Zendaya admits. "I think being in the music industry, maybe it, it didn’t kill the joy of music, but it’s when you put music and business together. Sometimes it cannot feel so good."
Of course, Zendaya might not have the time. This year she has already starred in the blockbuster Dune 2, and this week's Challengers. She is also attached to a third season of Euphoria, however, the status of another season is currently unknown.
“You know, I think if the right timing and it came, because I like creating it for myself, but if there was a moment, maybe I would, you know, put out a little something,” she teases. “Don’t get crazy! We’ll see, but maybe one day."
