Niagara Falls cat shot with BB gun makes full recovery
A cat shot with a BB gun in Niagara Falls in September has made a full recovery and will be ready for adoption soon.
The cat now named "Baxter" needed significant care and the Lincoln County Humane Society provided over $2,500 worth of veterinary care, which has only been partially covered by donations.
The investigation into the initial complaint has now led to 5 counts of animal cruelty laid against a Niagara Falls man.
These charges include causing and permitting distress and failing to provide care for an animal.
The accused is scheduled to appear in a Welland Courtroom in early December.
His name was not released by the LCHS.
