Two teens released unconditionally as police continue to investigate death of 14 year old boy
Two teenagers arrested in connection to the stabbing death of a 14 year old boy in front of a Hamilton high school have been released.
Yesterday morning police arrested the pair of 16 year olds for first degree murder and brought them in for questioning. They have now been released unconditionally.
An 18 year old man and 14 year old boy from Hamilton are still facing first degree murder charges in the death of Devan Selvey.
Police launched the investigation Monday afternoon after Selvey was stabbed in front of Sir Winston Churchhill Secondary School in Hamilton.
Officials say they have now cleared the scene.
In the meantime a vigil dubbed 'Candlelight Vigil Against Bullying, Jealousy, Hatefulness, and for Love & Peace' will be held in front of the school tonight between 6:30 p.m. and 8 p.m.
