I have been a Penticton City Councillor for the past 7 years and a board member of the Regional District Okanagan Similkameen for the past 4 years. I have an undergraduate degree in Political Science, and I received a master’s degree from UBC Okanagan in June 2019. My husband and I have been small business owners in the Okanagan for over 25 years. I am a former professional tennis player and seven-time national Canadian master’s tennis champion. My husband and I have 2 children, Zakary and Zoe.

After knocking on over 28,000 doors throughout the South Okanagan-West Kootenay Riding over the past year, the number one thing I hear from residents is that they are barely able to get by financially. This needs to be addressed. The huge increases in cost of living are being ignored by this Liberal government, as well as the NDP that supports them. In particular, the cost of groceries is repeatedly mentioned, along with the outrageous increase in gasoline prices.

A Conservative government will address this issue by eliminating the federal carbon tax and introduce a universal tax cut that will save the average family over $850 a year.  We will put more money in your pocket with policies like eliminating GST on home heating and taxes on parental leave. Under Trudeau life continues to grow more unaffordable. A Conservative government will put more money in your pocket, so you can get ahead.
