CBT Trail Enhancement Grants going to local groups around the basin

A number of local trails will benefit from the Columbia Basin Trust Trail Enhancement Grants.

There are 25 projects around the basin receiving close to 4-hundred thousand dollars in funding.

In Castlegar, the Friends of Parks and Trails Society will receive funding for new maps and regulatory signage.

The Trails For Creston Valley Society will get some funding for phase two of the Ka Papa Cedars Trail.

The Nelson Cycling Club is getting fund to upgrade, rehabilitate and enhance trails in the  area...

The West Kootenay Recreational Dirt Bike and ATV Society will get funding for Montrose Rover Creek Beginner Trail and kids loop.

The New Denver Kootenay Adaptive Sport Association is getting 25 thousand dollars for the Galena Trail Boardwalk Replacement.

And the Kootenay Columbia Trails Society will get some funding for construction of four new sections of new multi use bi-directional single track trail in the Rossland area.
