Nelson Police seek public's help identifying persons-of-interest

On Saturday The Nelson Police Department requested the public's assistance in identifying two persons-of-interest in an ongoing mischief investigation.

A male and female were captured on video overnight between August 14th and 15th causing damage to businesses and properties in the mall and downtown area.

The man is described as light-skinned Caucasian, average height, thin build, mid 30's with longer curly brown hair in a ponytail and trimmed beard.

He wore khaki pants and a light grey or khaki short-sleeved collared shirt with a black or dark coloured backpack.

The woman is described as light-skinned Caucasian, shorter, slim build, late 20's to early 30's with shoulder length dark hair.

She is said to have worn dark pants, a tie-dyed short sleeved shirt, grey ankle boots and a pink shawl or scarf carrying a shoulder bag.

Nelson Police say any witnesses or anyone with knowledge of the identities and locations of these two individuals are urged to contact the lead investigator at caldwell@nelsonpolice.ca.
