Salmo RCMP hoping to see crime go down after weekend arrest

Salmo RCMP are hoping to see crime go down in the community after two prolific offenders were arrested Saturday.

Corporal Darryl Orr says over the last 30 days they've been inundated with numerous property, drug and violent crimes in and around Salmo, and they highly suspect the two individuals have been involved with a majority of the crimes.

He says they're hopeful once the suspects are in the court process they'll see some resolution in the community.

According to Orr, the two men are also suspected of committing crimes in the Trail and Castlegar Communities.

Salmo RCMP are recommending numerous property and drug charges.
